The Supervised Electronic Confinement (SEC) Program offers a safe alternative to jail for eligible inmates subject to the approval of the Court and the Orange County Probation Department.
In the SEC Program, inmates are given the chance to serve their jail sentence confined to their residence under strict conditions that provides the opportunity to maintain employment, fulfill childcare responsibilities and obtain medical care and treatment.
As a condition of the SEC Program, the inmate is required to wear a GPS device, follow all program rules and meet with a case manager every other week. Additional conditions may apply based on the case.
The Electronic Monitoring and the Case Management of the SEC program is administered by CorrectiveSolutions under a contract with Orange County.
